Anatomage Table 12 Update: The Full List of Added Content and Features (2025)
For over a decade, Anatomage has continuously expanded and refined the content of the Anatomage Table, delivering the most advanced reconstructions of real human bodies, uniquely augmented by dynamic simulations in functional anatomy and clinical procedures. Each annual update builds on the previous generation, adding new cadavers, real-anatomy-based physiology, clinical procedures, pathological cases, and interactive learning experiences designed for medical education and training.
The Anatomage Table offers the most accurate and detailed collections of digital real human cadavers, continuously refined through advances in imaging, segmentation, and anatomical modeling. Content updates are provided free of charge for Anatomage Table customers, ensuring that the platform continues to evolve as new content and capabilities become available. Explore the history of Anatomage Table updates to see how each generation has expanded the scope of medical education and the ways educators and healthcare professionals can study the human body.
Built on more than 14 years of continual refinement, the Anatomage Table 12 release cemented our commitment to providing the most advanced digital anatomy, functional simulations, and real-world clinical procedure training for medical education.
Anatomage Table 12: New Content and Features
Release date: 2025
New Content and Tools
Hanna
A new cadaver model has been added!
- 88 year old female | Cause of death: Pancreatic Cancer
- Pathology: Cancer throughout the entire pancreas, metastasis on liver and lungs, enlarged lymph nodes, gallstone and cholecystoduodenal fistula.
Aria
Aria was modeled from Anatomage’s real 3D cadaver data to present a healthy and standardized textbook-friendly model in anatomical position. Aria offers students a unique opportunity to begin their anatomical studies with a 3D body that closely mirrors textbook illustrations.
Multi Body
With the medical presets feature, multiple cadavers are displayed at once, allowing students to easily compare the unique anatomy and pathologies of different cadavers. Precise regional cuts have been made to showcase highly detailed anatomy and provide a more complete and practical learning experience.
Histology
215 new slides added to the Anatomage histology library.
Case Library
450+ Addition of segmented case library views. Added new cases of mummies.
New Functional Anatomy
Aesthetic Medicine
The aesthetic medicine procedure simulation was developed to visualize common aesthetic medicine clinical procedures using Botox and fillers. The simulation highlights key facial anatomy, specifically facial muscles, dozens of facial fat pads and neurovascular structures.
Ear Physiology
Visualize the physiology of hearing as it relates to sound, balance, and pressure. Explore the extremely detailed anatomy of the cochlea and its internal tubules.
Colonoscopy
Control scope positioning and angles through a colonoscopy procedure. Visualize pathologies such as polyps and tumors.
Endoscopy
Control scope positioning and angles through an endoscopy procedure from the mouth through the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. Visualize pathologies such as reflux esophagitis, Barrett esophagitis, and peptic ulcers.
Radiation Oncology
Users can visualize the technology of a cutting edge oncology procedure coupled with Anatomage’s highly detailed slice data for liver cancer treatment
Radiology
Users can visualize the step-by-step CT scan procedures of the head, neck, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis. Procedures are coupled with Anatomage’s highly detailed slice and CT data.
Kinematic Body
Modeled off a classic hanging skeleton, this simulation gives you full control of all joints and allows you to record step-by-step motions to create complex movements such as walking, kicking, or waving.
Changes to Functional Anatomy
Catheterization
Addition of a new procedure. Visualize a right-heart catheterization procedure with access through the femoral vein. Advance a sheath, guidewire, and catheter.
Homeostasis
Visuals for the homeostasis simulation have been revised, providing a greater emphasis on key digestive structures.
Renal Physiology
Addition of potassium level tracking. You can now view the nephron histology slide in greater detail through a visibility menu.
Respiratory Physiology – Bronchoscopy
Bronchoscopy simulation has been separated from Respiratory Physiology in the Functional Anatomy menu.
The Bronchoscopy Simulation improved to include internal anatomical landmarks (trachea, carina, main bronchus). Improved endoscope controls allowing for insertion, withdrawal, rotation, and tip deflection). Addition of transparency mode and two pathological findings .
Cadavers Updates
Improved Anatomical Accuracy
- Victor: Over 600 new structures added, including arteries, veins, nerves, lymph, ligaments, and fat pads.
- Vicky: Over 200 new structures added including arteries, veins, nerves, lymph, ligaments, and fat pads.
- Hans: Addition of 24 fat pads. Structure improvements.
Pre-Made Resources
Quizzes
37 pre-made quizzes on different body systems have been added to the Table desktop in the “Table Quizzes” folder. These quiz VPFs can be imported into Victor or Vicky to be customized and played in the Quiz Mode. Instructions and keys are located in the Table Quizzes folder.
Activities
All Anatomage-created lab activities have been updated for clarity, formatting, and compatibility and placed in the “Table Activities” folder on the desktop. Instructor and student guides are located in the Table Activities folder. These can also be found on AnatomageShare.com.
Updates to Existing Tools
Schematics
The schematic layout, which previously provided cardiovascular schematics linked to the real 3D cadaver data, now also provides nerve and lymph schematics for areas of interest.
Fetal Circulation
In the fetus regional scan and Pregnancy functional anatomy simulation, you can now visualize the blood flow involving the placenta, umbilical cord, and unique fetal heart features. Access fetal circulation through the schematics layout.
