ANATOMAGE OUTSTANDING TEACHER AWARDS OFFICIAL RULES

1. Eligibility: The 2023 Anatomage Outstanding Teacher Awards is open to candidates who: teach one of the following groups: public, private or charter school at the following levels: High school, Undergraduate and Graduate/Post-graduate in the United States and who use an Anatomage product as part of their curriculum. One (1) winner will be chosen for each group level. Employees of Anatomage, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Awards program. The Award is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Being selected as a winner does not constitute an endorsement from Anatomage.

3. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Anatomage as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Award.

4. How to Apply: All applications must be submitted online here and must be received no later than 6pm Pacific time on Friday, May 5, 2023, in order to be considered. This includes submitting the following: Completed application form and a Video response to the following questions:

  • Describe a lesson using an Anatomage product that defines you as a teacher. How did you engage your students in learning with the Anatomage product, and how did that learning influence your students?
  • What does success look like for your students and your program? Include evidence, such as data, stories, or anecdotes, to support your response.
  • What is the best thing about being a teacher in a digital world?
    Up to 3 additional materials may be included to support your application (photos, video, link, etc.). Entrants must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate, or the age of majority in their state, as required by law.

5. Limitations on Entries: You may enter only once. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses or identities. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your entry may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Anatomage.

6. Award Conditions: There will be one (1) cash prize for each of the following groups: High school, Undergraduate and Graduate/Post-graduate teachers. The Winners agree to participate in media interviews and filming during their participation at the Anatomage Conference. The Winner must provide Anatomage with a valid Social Security number or taxpayer identification number before the prize will be awarded. A form 1099 will be issued to each winner. Acceptance of prize money constitutes permission for Anatomage to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, including participation in video interviews, unless prohibited by law.

7. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

8. Winner Selection and Notification: On or around April 22, 2023 through May 22, 2023, an Anatomage judging panel will review all eligible entries received throughout the award period to select one (1) winner in each group. The (3) winners will be notified via email before or on May 26, 2023. Anatomage shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the response within 5 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeit and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winners of the prize offered in this Award is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT ANATOMAGE SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE AWARD, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

9. Rights Granted by You: By entering. You understand and agree that Anatomage, anyone acting on behalf of Anatomage, and Anatomage licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Award, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

10. Terms & Conditions: Anatomage reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Awards or violates these Terms & Conditions.

11. Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Anatomage and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Awards and/or his/her/their acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.

12. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Anatomage as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Award.

13. Disputes: THIS AWARD IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CALIFORNIA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Award, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Award, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in California having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Award). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

16. By entering an eligible entry into these Awards, the Contestant, have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all the Official Rules.
