The Anatomage Tournament is a team-based competition to test student’s knowledge of anatomy. Teams of 3 to 5 students will compete in a series of rounds where teams with the highest score in an anatomy test utilizing a cadaver from the Anatomage Table will advance to the next round. 

Students will take the test over a Zoom meeting hosted by Anatomage, where we will share controls of the software with the student team. Each team will be asked to select a single “team lead” who will be shared control of the Anatomage software over Zoom to take the test. The rest of the team will provide feedback on which structure to submit for the answer. 

The goal of the Tournament is to be the last team standing after 4 rounds of competition! In each round, your goal is to score as many points as possible within the allotted time by correctly identifying anatomical structures.

This tournament will be conducted through Zoom, so you and your team members will need to enter the zoom meeting through the link provided by Anatomage.

Once in the meeting, your dedicated team captain will be granted remote access to the Anatomage Table to make answer selections provided by all team members.

The team captain must join the meeting with a PC or Mac computer and have the “Zoom Client” downloaded. For best results, we recommend using a PC and a mouse (not a trackpad).

Your team captain will be able to interact with the cadaver by rotating, panning/dragging, and zooming in/out as needed. All structures will be visible superficially, so you will not need to remove structures, but you may need to rotate or zoom in on the cadaver to locate the answer.

• 10 points per correct answer
• -1 point per incorrect answer
• 0 points per skipped question

Each correct answer will earn 10 points and each incorrect answer will result in a 1-point deduction. If you do not know the answer, you may skip the question with no penalty; however, you will NOT be able to go back to skipped questions.

In the event of a point tie, the team will place higher with:

• The highest number of correct answers.
• The fastest time.

For each tournament, there will be a qualifying round, top 8 round, and finals round. The qualifying round will take place on Wednesday, June 23, and results from the event will be reported by 9 PM EDT on June 23rd.

The 8 teams with the highest scores in the qualifying round from each tournament will be notified and allowed to sign up for the Top 8 Round on Thursday, June 24. Results from the Top 8 Round will be reported by 6 PM EDT on June 24th.

The 4 teams with the highest scores in the Top 8 Round from each tournament will be notified and allowed to sign-up for the Finals round on Friday, June 25. The team with the highest score in the Finals Round of each tournament will be selected as the Champion.
